POSITION : ACCOUNTANT

DEPARTMENT: ACCOUNTS
REPORTS TO: GENERAL MANAGER
NUMBER OF VACANCIES: 1(ONE)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Accounting and Finance option or any related course.
  • Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the same field.
  • Proven experience in microfinance systems.
  • Partial CPA at least level 3 (three) will be an added advantage.
  • Should be aged between 30yrs and above
  • Possession of relevant computer skills is a must

Nyakayojo Peoples SACCO Finance and Procurement Committee wishes to make an invitation for proposal and/or bids for registration of providers/suppliers for various
works, services and supplies for the financial year 2024-2026.

Closing date: 4th June, 2024

CATEGORY I: SUPPLIES

i. Supply and delivery of Branded Tents and accessories
ii. Non-Food Items
ili. Food items.
iv. Branded Personal Protective wear & Equipment.
v. Motorcycles.
vi. Motor vehicle.
vii. General Office Stationery (printed and unprinted) etc.

CATEGORY II: SERVICES.

a. Hire of vehicles
b. Hotel, Accommodation, and conference facilities.
c. Maintenance & repair of motor vehicles & motorcycles.
d. Maintenance and repair of computers and photocopiers, Printing.
e. Art and design.
f. Cleaning and Fumigation services.
g. Engraving Services.

 

CATEGORY II: WORKS

 
  1. Minor construction and renovations
  2. General building construction like office blocks
  3. Green leaf collection sheds and pit latrines
  4. Carpentry works
  5. Partitioning and joinery etc.
 

Conditions of registration

a. Certificate of incorporation.
b. Valid trading license for 2024
c. Business physical address and all other necessary contacts (telephone and fax numbers).
d. Passport size photographs of directors for companies, partners or sole proprietors.

e. General receipt (original) acknowledging payment for the bid fee.
f. Evidence of past experience.
g. Evidence of key staff especially for consultancy services.
h. Names of the directors.
i. Record of past or current contracts/performance, equipment’s available and key personnel.

A complete set of prequalification bid document in English will be issued upon payment of non-refundable fee of UGX100,000/= (One hundred thousand shillings only) for all categories.

The method of payment will be cash payment to the SACCO cashier at Nyakayojo Peoples SACCO Main Branch. Sealed bids of 2 copies (one marked Original and copy) in sealed envelopes clearly marked according to the activity intended to be registered for, should be addressed and delivered to Finance and Procurement Committee Nyakayojo Peoples SACCO Ltd P.O. Box 1837, Mbarara.
