IT Officer Position

Location: Nyakayojo People’s SACCO Ltd
Reports to: Manager / Operations Manager
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

The IT Officer will be responsible for managing, supporting, and maintaining the SACCO’s information technology systems to ensure smooth, secure, and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day technical support for computers, printers, networks, and related equipment

Maintain and monitor the SACCO’s IT systems, including hardware, software, and internet connectivity

Ensure data security, backups, and proper use of IT resources

Minimum Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

At least 1–2 years of relevant IT support experience (added advantage)

Basic knowledge of networking, computer hardware, and software applications

Required Skills and Competencies

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills
